چکیده

Purified extracts from different types of berries and medicinal plants are increasingly used as raw materials for the production nutraceuticals dietary supplements, mainly due to their high content in bioactive substances. This is, instance, case phenolic compounds such flavonoids, which exhibit a wide range beneficial properties, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antineoplastic antimicrobial activities. paper tackles characterization several kinds based on hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) with fluorescence detection (FLD). The study focused determination flavanols related condensed tannins. Analytes were recovered by solvent extraction using methanol:water:hydrochloric acid (70:29:1 v:v:v) under sonication 30 min at 55 °C. Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) in proteomics

In proteomics, nanoflow multidimensional chromatography is now the gold standard for the separation of complex mixtures of peptides as generated by in-solution digestion of whole-cell lysates. Ideally, the different stationary phases used in multidimensional chromatography should provide orthogonal separation characteristics. For this reason, the combination of strong cation exchange chromatogr...

Silica based click amino stationary phase for ion chromatography and hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography.

A silica based amino stationary phase was prepared by immobilization of propargylamine on azide-silica via click chemistry. This readily prepared click amino stationary phase demonstrated good selectivity in separation of common inorganic anions under ion chromatography (IC) mode, and the triazole ring in combination with free amino group was observed to play a major role for separation of the ...

Hydrophilic interaction chromatography

In the early 1990s, hydrophilic interaction (liquid) chromatography (HILIC) emerged as a new separation method. HILIC is becoming increasingly popular for the separation of polar compounds in aqueous-organic mobile phases rich in organic solvents (usually acetonitrile). It has become important for the separation of pharmaceuticals, neurotransmitters, nucleosides, nucleotides and other compounds...

Characterization of intact neo-glycoproteins by hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography.

In this study, an HPLC HILIC-UV method was developed for the analysis of intact neo-glycoproteins. During method development the experimental conditions evaluated involved different HILIC columns (TSKgel Amide-80 and ZIC-pHILIC), and water-acetonitrile mixtures containing various types of acids and salts. The final selected method was based on a TSKgel Amide-80 column and a mobile phase compose...

An arginine-functionalized stationary phase for hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography.

An arginine-functionalized stationary phase for hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) has been prepared for the first time by clicking arginine onto silica gel. It offers an efficient separation of organic acids, nucleotides and sugars. More interestingly, it exhibited excellent selectivity and enrichment toward acidic glycopeptides, even at a ratio of 1 : 150 to non-glycopeptides.
